Who We Are

Long before we (Daniela and Kena) picked up a professional camera, we loved to take photos, capture memories, and create galleries for fun. We used to book studios, hire photographers, organize photoshoots, and then laugh about the experience, the crazy outfits/poses, and the memories.

At our core, we’re passionate about art, connection, and storytelling.

The second we picked up a camera and started taking photography seriously, everything changed. Photography has allowed us to make positive impacts in the community, celebrate milestones with clients, and make people see how beautiful they truly are.

Founder, Photographer, and Editor

As a photographer, Daniela loves creating images that feel authentic and beautiful. She also loves learning, and has taken photography classes and workshops at various institutions, including McBain, Alberta Film School, City of Edmonton, etc. She feels so fortunate to also have received mentorship by local photography legends such as John Diep, Sarah (Perspective Photography), Kristen (Forte Studios), Lotus Martel, and Kelly (Dad Rock Studio).

Kena Leon

Assistant

Kena is a queer POC artist active in theatre, music, and events industry, as well as Daniela’s partner! With many years in the audio/visual industry, they support all technical aspects of the photoshoots.
